After trying for a few years, I finally made it to Frantic Fest, the extreme music festival in Abruzzo Italy. It exceeded all of my expectations. The range of bands playing was great, the vibe is so cool and laid back, and as an event planner myself, I was so impressed with how well it was run. It is the perfect size, where there is plenty to do, but you never have to fight to access any services of see your favorite bands. With my music production festival in the fall, and Frantic Fest, maybe central Italy’s Adriatic coast is the new hot spot for the best indie festivals.
Voivod was beyond amazing, but my favorite new discoveries where Perchta and Scorpion Milk. Both amazing! All the promo I have seen for Scorpion Milk just show the singer, but I really hope it is a full band. The combination of the 4 guys was awesome.
